Whether you're hosting a Super Bowl party or backyard barbecue, wings are loved by everyone. Chilicopter Avakai hot sauce makes a lovely wing sauce. Here's how:
Ingredients (makes enough sauce for 35 - 40 wings):
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup Chilicopter Avakai or Fiery Avakai hot sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
Directions:
In a small saucepan, whisk together hot sauce and honey. Bring to simmer then stir in butter and garlic powder. Cook until butter is melted and slightly reduced, about 2 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients while stirring and turn off heat. Toss cooked wings in immediately or let it cool and store in fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for later use.
